Voices of Wayne County pre-order
The Wayne County Bicentennial Committee undertook a project to collect MEMORIES from all around Wayne County. One hundred forty submissions were accepted and have been put into a book with over 450 pages. The Committee headed by Walworth resident, Amber Linson includes, Kate Chamberlin (Walworth), Sandi Hamilton & Jim Wood (Sodus), Perry Howland & Anne L’Hommedieu (Williamson). Wayne County Tourism Director, Christine Worth and Bicentennial Co-Chairs, Gene Bavis & Rosa Fox also assisted with the project.
The book sells for $25 (plus $2 sales tax). When you buy through the WHS, $5 for each book sold goes to support us. They will make EXCELLENT Holiday Gifts for a family member, friend, OR YOURSELF!
After a couple of delays due to production problems, the book is expected to be available in early December A special ceremony is planned. For more information about the book release ceremony, please send an email to bicentennial@waynehistorians.org
