A Travelogue of 6 Museums in the NE with Gene & Liz – Sunday, 12/10/23 – 2 PM

Many people know that Gene & Liz LOVE to travel in their RV and visit historic sites and museums whenever possible.  In October, they did a 7 day, 5 state, 6 museum adventure.  They’ve selected about 200 photos and put them into a 45-minute slide show so that they can share the adventure with YOU.

You will get some glimpses of the Northeast Classic Car Museum (Norwich, NY), Great Camp Sagamore (Raquette Lake, NY), Shelburne Museum (Shelburne, VT), Mystic Seaport (Mystic, CT), the Mark Twain Home & Museum (Hartford, CT), and Hancock Shaker Village (Hancock MA).

This is a special program to entice people to visit our Walworth Historical Society.  Since COVID, most of our programs have been held in other places due to space restrictions and few people have come into our museum.  We have recently been doing some rearranging and preparing for our special Open House on 12/16.  We’d like to have more visitors.

This special event is FREE and OPEN to the public.  AND we’ll have some refreshments, too.
