The Walworth Historical Society was founded in the Fall of 1975. Throughout 2025, we plan to celebrate our role in helping to preserve local history.
PLEASE ADD THESE DATES TO YOUR CALENDAR! – updated 2/11/25
The following are dates in which the Walworth Historical Society plans to have events that are OPEN to the public. Specifics are being planned and will be announced ASAP, but please save the dates. OTHER themed Open Houses are likely to be scheduled. Please watch the Blog section (top left of the page) for more details about EACH event. Social Media and Newspaper Announcements will also be made.
April 14, 2025 – 3 Erie Canals in Wayne County and a Bit Beyond! with Bob Stopper at the Lodge in Ginegaw Park
May 19, 2025 – WHS Annual Pot Luck Dinner, Annual Meeting, Community Service Award & Program
July 25-26, 2025 – Walworth Festival in the Park (Parade 7/25)
September 15, 2025 – A Walworth Historical Society 50th Anniversary Banquet/Celebration at the Lodge in Ginegaw Park catered by North Coast Catering. Details coming soon.
October Open House – TBD
November 17, 2025 – NOON – Soup for Lunch & Program TBD
December 13, 2025 – 5th Annual Wreaths Across America Ceremony at Walworth Cemetery
